Fire Lord Zuko, known to the Old Gaang, the New Gaang, and no-one else as simply Zuko, is the undisputed ruler of the Fire Nation and the husband of Fire Lady Mai. 20 years ago, Zuko was simply a prince, and a banished one at that- his father, Fire Lord Ozai, punished him for speaking out of turn in- well, it's a long story. Suffice to say: Ozai burned the BEJEEZUS out of Zuko's face, banished him, and sent him off on a wild-goose-chase after the Avatar, who hadn't been seen in 100 years.

Two years later, he reappeared. Zuko then began running the Avatar and the Gaang a merry chase across essentially the entire world, until he finally realized he was on the wrong side and defected from his homeland, which is also a long story. He joined the Gaang and, with Katara's help, defeated his sister Azula to regain his lost throne.

XX years later, Fire Lord Zuko's reign has overcome a somewhat rocky start and is now running exceedingly smoothly. So smoothly, in fact, that Zuko has adopted the habit of sneaking out to go running roughshod across the world again from time to time, while his endless army of aides cover for him. On his latest adventure, he dragged along his wife, Mai, and his teenage daughter, Irah, to attend the yearly reunion of the old Gaang. And almost immediately, things started going wrong for old "Bad-Luck-Charm Zuko" once again...

Zuko is an extremely dangerous individual. In addition to being master of at least two forms of Firebending (one of them thousands of years old), he is also an expert swordsman, and goes nowhere without his twin blades handy. Though years of good luck and good fortune have mellowed a once deeply bitter personality, he is still prone to occasional outbursts of anger and headstrongness, and will answer any threat to himself, his Nation, his family, or his friends with all the force he can muster.
